I was always the kid who had the stray animals follow her home. Raised on a farm, I had a variety of animals growing up. My Mom could always find me out in the pasture laying next to the pony or out in the yard playing with our German Shepherds.
After years of administrative work, my son was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. Once his treatments were done and he was in remission, I tried to return to the workforce only to be passed over due to fear of the cancer returning. I started dog walking and have never looked back.
I quickly realized that this was my calling in life. To give back to the animals, all the love and happiness they have brought me over the years. Also, to help the fur parents when they want to travel but don't want to kennel their loved ones.
I founded Paws and Claws Pet Care because I know how hard it is to leave our beloved pets with friends or strangers. I am committed to providing the best professional care to you and your pets and creating a loving and relaxed atmosphere for your furry friends while you are away.

Paws and Claws has cared for my older dog for over a year now and could not be happier with the level of care. I am military and have experienced many pet sitters/walkers and Paws and Claws is number one in my book. The little things, especially the daily notes, really made me feel that my buddy Lucy was well CARED for, not just walked. Great prices, awesome service, best ever pet care - that sums it up,
Paws and Claws Pet Care is awesome! I've used them for three years and my pets love them. I use them for daily walks while at work and when I'm away often on travel. They treat my dogs like family :)

I have had other dog walkers, but Dawn really cares about her clients. She does little things that the other company charged me for and doesn't charge me an arm and a leg for it. I love coming home to a happy boy after a long day...Paws and Claws Pet Care has been amazing in caring for Bandit!
